Dr. Dai Chao Delivers Technical Presentation at the Inaugural Meeting of the Jiangsu Province New Energy Vehicle Photovoltaic Storage and Charging Standardization Technical Committee

On 25th April, 2024, the inaugural meeting of the Jiangsu Province New Energy Vehicle Photovoltaic Storage and Charging Standardization Technical Committee was held at the Happiness Hotel in Changzhou City.

The event brought together numerous industry experts, scholars, and business representatives. Dr. Dai Chao, founder and general manager of Chauron Technology, was invited to attend the event.

During the meeting, Dr. Dai presented on Fuses for High-Power Charging Stations, and highlighted the rapid evolution of the new energy industry.

Traditional fuse technology can no longer meet the high voltage, cost-effectiveness, and stability needed for modern applications.

Chauron Technology is focused on developing the next generation of intelligent, modular fuse products. These products are designed to handle the complex, ever-changing circuits in the new energy sector.

Dr. Dai also introduced Chauron’s innovative Pyrofuse. The Pyrofuse can disconnect faults in just one ten-thousandth of a second. These “black-tech” products provide comprehensive protection, intelligent control, ultra-fast disconnection, and high cost-effectiveness.

They are ideal for applications such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaic wind power, energy storage systems, and charging stations.

Dr. Dai congratulated the establishment of the Jiangsu Province New Energy Vehicle Photovoltaic Storage and Charging Standardization Technical Committee. He emphasized that the new energy vehicle and supporting photovoltaic storage and charging infrastructure industries are experiencing rapid growth.

The establishment of a comprehensive standardization system is essential for the development of the industry, and the committee’s formation will provide strong support for the standardized construction of the entire industry.

As a member of the National Fuse Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC340) and the National Fuse Standardization Technical Committee Low-Voltage Fuse Subcommittee (SAC/TC340/SC2), Dr. Dai is dedicated to promoting the interaction between standardization and technological innovation.

He has participated in the development of national standards, including Low-Voltage Fuses – Part 7: Supplementary Requirements for Fuses for Battery and Battery System Protection, the group standard Low-Voltage Solid-State Fuse, and the revision of the national standard Low-Voltage Fuses – Part 6: Supplementary Requirements for Fuses for Solar Photovoltaic System Protection, along with the review of numerous other national standards.

Chauron Technology is dedicated to technological research and standard development. We will continue to drive the industry’s healthy and sustainable growth through ongoing innovation and the establishment of rigorous standards.
